In Albertslund and Glostrup the Albertslundrute runs mainly on a cycle path in own course through grean surroundings and through residential areas. Through Rødovre, Frederiksberg and Copenhagen, the route continues mainly along cycle tracks alongside roads.
About the route
The Albertslundrute was the first cycle superhighway in the Capital Region and is a calm and grean cycling connection between Vestegnen, Frederiksberg and Copenhagen. The Albertslundrute passes a number of recreational and green areas including Vestskoven, Vestvlden and Damshussøen. In addition, the route also creates connection to larger business areas, such as Hersted Industripark in Albertslund as well as Copenhagen Business School and the University of Copenhagen, in Copenhagen.

The route connects the areas of Herstedvester, Herstedøster, Hersted Industripark, Hvissinge, Rødovre, Damhussøen, Vanløse, Frederiksberg and inner city Copenhagen.
