The route connects Roskilde and Køge via a number of smaller towns and links important public transport hubs. The Roskilde-Køgeruten runs mainly on paths along major roads. In addition, the route runs partly on smaller roads and on paths in its own course.

About the route

The route connects the market towns of Roskilde and Køge via a number of smaller towns. In the north, the route starts at Roskilde Station, one of the country’s busiest stations, and passes Roskilde Hospital along the Køgevej access road. The urban development area Musicon is passed before the route runs through the towns of Vor Frue, Havdrup in Solrød Municipality and later Lille Skensved in Køge Municipality. From here, the route passes the Køge Nord St. junction and continues along its own path to Køge Hospital and from here along roads through Køge to Køge St.

The route connects the areas Roskilde, Roskilde Sygehus, Musicon, Vor Frue, Havdrup, Kirke Skensved, Naurbjerg, Lille Skensved, Ølsemagle, Køge sygehus and Køge.
