The Ørestadsruten runs on one-way cycle tracks on each side of Ørestad Boulevard from Vestamager Station to Amager Boulevard. The route runs parrallel to the M1 metro line and connects Ørestad with inner city Copenhagen.

About the route
The Ørestadsruten is a direct connection between Ørestad and central Copenhagen. It runs along Ørestads Boulevard and connect several residential and business areas. The surroundings of the route vary as it both runs through the new housing developments in Ørestad in the south, while the northern strecth of the route is in Amager Fælled. The route intersects with the Indre Ringrute at Vejlands Allé and with the Københavneruten at Amager Boulevard.
