In the north the route runs on Lundtoftegårdsvej by DTU on one-way cycle tracks. The route continues on a seperate path system through open landscape and on to Garderhøjfortet. After, the route continues through Gentofte passing Hellerup station and Svanemøllen station on one-way cycle tracks on to Copenhagen City Hall Square.

About the route

Lyngbyruten makes a good connection between DTU in Lyngby and inner city Copenhagen. The route has a shorter stretch on a seperated path system through green areas and open land, where the route cross the Helsingør motorway in a tunnel path. Otherwise, the route runs primarely on one-way cycle tracks by roads and through Gentofte by Smakkegårdsvej, Høghsmindevej and Tranegårdsvej. By Hellerup station the route continues on Ryvangs Allé and on to Svanemøllen station where it continues on to Copenhagen City Hall Square parralel with the lakes in Copenhagen.
