The route connects Herfølge with Karlstrup Strand via Køge and Solrød Strand. It runs on Vordingborgvej, Ringvejen, Københavnsvej, Jersie Strandvej, Solrød Strandvej and Karlstrup Strandvej. Along most of the stretch there is one-way cycle tracks.

About the route

The route runs along a country road and provides a direct connection between Herfølge, Køge, and the urban belt along Køge Bay. The route acts as an extension of the Ishøjruten, though interrupted on the stretch through Greve Municipality. The route runs through Køge along the Ring Road and thus bypasses the city center, but with several good connections to it. The route passes several important hubs including Køge Nord St. and Køge St.
