The route is a railroad track that runs along the Køge Bugt-banen between Ishøj St. in Ishøj Kommune and Friheden St. in Hvidovre Municipality via Brøndby Strand St. and Avedøre St. The route is not planned yet through Vallensbæk Municipality, which connects Ishøj and Brøndby Municipality.
About the route
The route runs parallel to the Ishøjruten and serves the same catchment area, but offers an attractive and quiet cycling experience away from the traffic on Gammel Køge Landevej/Ishøj Strandvej. The alignment along the S-train also ensures a strong connection to public transport. There is currently no path along most of the route.
