The route follows Isterødvejen from the intersection between Fredensborgvej and Hillerødvejen and continues through open land on to the Helsingør Motorway by Isterød in Hørsholm Kommune.

About the route

The Hillerød-Hørsholmruten runs in green surroundings along Store Dyrehave and connects northern Hillerød with Kirkehelte, Gunderød, Isterød and Hørsholm. The route is also an important link in the rest of the cycle superhighway network, as it connects to the upcoming Lynge-Hørsholmruten, Ølstykke-Hillerødruten, Hillerød-Helsingørruten and Helsinge-Hillerødruten.
