The route follows Paltholmvej in Furesø without cycle tracks, whilst it on Duemosevej runs on a bidirectional cycle track. Through Birkerød, following Ravnsnæsvej and Frederiksborgvej and through Hørsholm to Rungsted, the route runs on one-way cycle tracks.

About the route

Farum-Rungstedruten is a connection between Farum in Furesø Municipality and Rungsted in Hørsholm Municipality and further passes through the northern end of Rudersdal Municiality. The route runs through residential and industrial areas and through open terrain, thereby connecting several important destinations for commuters across the three municipalities.
