The route connects larger city areas as Espergærde, Humlebæk, Hørsholm and Holte. The route runs from the coast in Espergærde in the north along Strandvejen and further southwest parralel with the coast and through Rude Skov, whereafter it ties into Allerødruten in the southern end.
About the route
From Espergærde the route runs south on one-way cycle tracks along Strandvejen where it turns southwest and runs parralel to the coast line. Between Nivå and Kokkedal station the course follows a bidirectional path in its own course along the coast line. Through Hørsholm the route predominantly runs on one-way cycle tracks on both sides of the street. The route continues on Hørsholm Kongevej on wide curb strips through Rude Skov, where it by Kongevejen in the south ties into the cycle superhighway Allerødruten.
