The Allerødruten runs on one-way cycle tracks along Kongevejen from Lillerød and through Birkerød and Holte and further down Lyngby Hovedgade. The route continues along the Helsingør-motorway to Copenhagen.
About the route
The Allerødrute runs along a thoroughfare between northern Zealand and inner Copenhagen and is a direct connection between the northern suburbs and Copenhagen. The route runs through different terrain and passes fields, forests and connects several residential and business areas. The Allerødrute follows several S-train lines and provides opportunity for combining cycling with public transport.
