Fordelen ved denne type gader er, at de ofte tilbyder den mest direkte rute og samtidig giver adgang til mange forskellige attraktioner og funktioner \u2013 b\u00e5de butikker, arbejdspladser, kollektive transportknudepunkter, liberale erhverv og boliger. Bylivet p\u00e5 hovedgaden kan bidrage til en afvekslende oplevelse for passerende cyklister, ligesom cyklisterne i sig selv bidrager med liv p\u00e5 gaden i form af trafik i en menneskelig skala og hastighed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:4px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-white-background-color has-background has-tiny-font-size grund af de mange funktioner p\u00e5 hovedgader og handelsstr\u00f8g, er der ofte mange andre interesser og hensyn at tage for eksempel til fodg\u00e6ngere og fortove, udeserveringer, vareudstillinger, beplantning, cykelparkering, bilparkering, varelevering og andet byrumsinventar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Disse aspekter kan g\u00f8re det vanskeligt at opfylde de fem kvalitetsm\u00e5l for supercykelstierne, og beslutningen om hvorvidt en supercykelsti skal f\u00f8res ad en hovedgade eller et handelsstr\u00f8g eller f\u00f8res ad en alternativ rute uden om hovedgaden, vil derfor skulle baseres p\u00e5 en afvejning i hvert konkrete tilf\u00e6lde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I denne sammenh\u00e6ng b\u00f8r man derfor inddrage overvejelser om, hvordan den alternative rute er: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul Dette problem kan minimeres ved at etablere en sikkerhedszone ind til de parkerede biler. Derfor beh\u00f8ver sammenh\u00e6ng ikke arbejdes med som f\u00f8rste prioritet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Fremkommeligheden <\/em><\/strong>vil derimod ofte v\u00e6re udfordret, fx pga. mange lyskryds, krydsende fodg\u00e6ngere, biler til og fra parkeringspladser, varebiler med varelevering osv.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Komforten<\/em><\/strong> kan v\u00e6re problematisk, hvis der fx er brostensbel\u00e6gning, fliser eller anden uj\u00e6vn bel\u00e6gning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Sikkerhed <\/em><\/strong>kan v\u00e6re udfordret af fx \u00e5bnende bild\u00f8re, bustrafik og mange krydsende fodg\u00e6ngere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Tryghed<\/em><\/strong> kan p\u00e5virkes n\u00e5r gaden har mange forskellige funktioner og aktiviteter. Det kan v\u00e6re udfordrende at orientere sig.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">Et fors\u00f8g p\u00e5 at im\u00f8dekomme disse kvalitetsm\u00e5l vil ofte f\u00f8re til et behov for at omprioritere pladsen i gaderummet, s\u00e5 pladsen til cyklister udvides (fx p\u00e5 bekostning af pladsen til biler).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"parkeringlommer\">En m\u00e5de at g\u00f8re dette p\u00e5 kan v\u00e6re at omdanne parkeringslommer til cykelstier. Cykler fylder mindre end biler \u2013 b\u00e5de n\u00e5r de k\u00f8rer og n\u00e5r de er parkeret. Der kan s\u00e5ledes v\u00e6re \u00f8konomisk r\u00e6son i at appellere til handlende p\u00e5 cykel, ogs\u00e5 for de erhvervsdrivende. Samtidig kan man arbejde med at etablere gode cykelparkeringsforhold for de handlende. For eksempel kan \u00e9n bilparkeringsplads konverteres til 10 cykelparkeringspladser, med plads til flere handlende som resultat. Handlende bilister kan i stedet henvises til korttidsparkering i sidegader og til st\u00f8rre parkeringsanl\u00e6g p\u00e5 enten private eller offentlige arealer. Ulempen ved, at bilister skal g\u00e5 lidt l\u00e6ngere, kan opvejes af bedre vejvisning til parkeringspladser p\u00e5 de st\u00f8rre parkeringsanl\u00e6g. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group panel is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center header is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"hvem-star-bag-supercykelstierne-icon-name-arrow-down-long-prefix-fat\">Alternative l\u00f8sninger <i class=\"fat fa-arrow-down-long\"><\/i><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group content has-background-green-lighter-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:2rem;padding-right:2rem;padding-bottom:0.5rem;padding-left:2rem\">\n<p>Hvis man ikke kan etablere enkeltrettede cykelstier i tilstr\u00e6kkelig bredde, findes der flere alternative l\u00f8sninger, man kan anvende: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trafiksanering<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hvis det ikke kan undg\u00e5s, at cyklisterne skal dele pladsen med bilisterne, b\u00f8r man sikre sig, at bilernes hastighed er s\u00e5 lav, at den ikke g\u00f8r det utrygt for cyklister. Det vil normalt betyde en hastighed p\u00e5 maksimalt 30 km\/t &#8211; og gerne lavere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette m\u00e5l kan for eksempel s\u00f8ges opn\u00e5et ved etablering af hastighedsd\u00e6mpende foranstaltninger rettet mod biler (chikaner, bump og h\u00e6vede flader mm.). Det kan ogs\u00e5 overvejes at lukke gaden for gennemk\u00f8rende bilk\u00f8rsel, hvilket vil s\u00e6nke antallet af biler s\u00e5vel som deres hastighed, og dermed skabe et roligere trafikmilj\u00f8 til gl\u00e6de for alle brugere af gaden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-font-size is-style-outline has-tiny-font-size is-style-outline--3\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/supercykelstier.dk\/koncept\/design-og-anlaeg\/sti-og-trace-paa-supercykelstier\/#mindrebefaerdedeveje\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L\u00e6s mere om supercykelstier ad mindre bef\u00e6rdede veje her<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Etablering af cykelgade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ofte kan det v\u00e6re sv\u00e6rt at skabe plads til egentlige cykelstier grundet et lokalt \u00f8nske om blandt andet fastholdelse af kantstensparkering til biler. I s\u00e5danne tilf\u00e6lde kan det overvejes at etablere en cykelgade p\u00e5 str\u00e6kningen. Etablering af en cykelgadel\u00f8sning kan sikre cyklisterne god fremkommelighed og sikkerhed samtidigt med at andre funktioner og arealer kan fastholdes (kantstensparkering, udeservering mm.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-font-size is-style-outline has-tiny-font-size is-style-outline--4\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/supercykelstier.dk\/koncept\/design-og-anlaeg-saerlige-afsnit\/cykelgader-paa-supercykelstier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L\u00e6s mere om cykelgader p\u00e5 supercykelstier her<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Midlertidige fors\u00f8gsprojekter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ofte kan ombygning af handelsstr\u00f8g omfatte store politiske beslutninger og v\u00e6re beh\u00e6ftet med mange bekymringer for hvad ombygningen kommer til at betyde for bymilj\u00f8et og handelslivet \u2013 b\u00e5de for brugere og de handelsdrivende. En mulighed for at im\u00f8dekomme disse bekymringer kan v\u00e6re at arbejde med midlertidige ombygninger som fors\u00f8gsprojekter inden der findes frem til en endelig (og mere bekostelig) anl\u00e6gsl\u00f8sning. De endelige projekter kan ofte simuleres med flytbare byrumsm\u00f8bler, chikaner og med maling og steler.
